One of the defining elemental life forces we find are how we need and respond to inert objects enough to give them personalities. Take a diamonds and gem stones shop mind set if you please. The harvesting of richest essential finds such as new diamond in the searing desert of Australia and the icy polar bear inhabited lands of far north Canada. And you know that in these hellish conditions the toughest men and women on earth are being well paid to bring those gems to us.
We are not sure of Australian but Canada hires and ensures that locals get first chance to train world class in their skill requirements. These diamond service workers are now well in to the diamond cartel and partnerships have been created with NYC and the jewels flow, which has a confirming factor to the market. The Canadian stem pipes of diamonds tend to cluster tighly packed and then crumble apart into large gem almost ready sized diamonds. Local are being trained by Antwerp experts and you now have greater assurance than ever on great quality into a confidence zone market.
Diamonds are required by science and industry and eagerly consume their share of each new find. Diamonds from the west were in relative abundance in the not so civilized peoples of the west, at least those peoples of Venice by the sea. But still for centuries as now Venice was on the wrong side of the sea to be yet able to trade through to the Orient, or even much beyond Constantinople near the gates to the east, part of the east itself, and yet one could only dream of east beyond the Black Sea and into the misty vast mystery of Asia.
Up that seeming never ending climb of mountains, and way up and over they say lay the land of Cathay. And it must have been so for glimpes of this Heavenly place could be found in an occasional slip of silk, forbidden out side of China, where the fearsome Khan controlled all and this included fire balls from hell. So it was with likely fear that diamonds well hidden in the cloaks of beggars had Marco Polo and his father and uncle guide him, with always a local for a days journey often no more.
For each person can carry other duties through the most tricky mountain passes, and particularly an introduction was needed, it was more cousins explaining the urgent swift bribe built in safe passage on yet another gate post to the Middle Kingdom. Diamonds to the mighty Khan and perhaps a favorite neice to be a favorite wife of young Marco, silks for diamonds in abundance, rich wealth and fame if ever to get to return back to Venice. But for now, the gentle rustle of silk entices, while you rattle your diamonds and gemstones shop rollers all day.
How you play with what rocks you have will determine how you may end up when the counting is done. Bliss and sereneity if you choose wisely, less so if you do not. We wish you well, diamond chosing moments do go as if a wisp, even more quickly than they come.
Description

The diamond has always been the most precious posssession out of creation, beyond even gold, The most grand princess resplendent in her riches of gemstones and gold had to have a centerpiece that held a diamond for all to see who was most precious. All would look in awe as this diamond of a person glided around among her admirers. She had diamonds in her eyes, and there was splendor all around;and so she flowed as one of a few where those human diamonds such as she.
In China was Confucous, who taught of good behavior and obedience to the emperor state. Confucious he did not believe in an after life, nor do many modern Chinese. Then came Guatama Buddha who lived from 560 to 480 B.C. Buddha was born as a prince in royalty in a palace of diamonds. Buddha’s mother died when he wasa youth. He left his wife and children at age 29. So it was that at age 29 Prince Guatama left his royal life behind to find in a simpler way to live. Buddah went to find peace somehow within.
At that time the ancient religion of Hindhu beliefs held that there were many gods and goddesses, many fables and stories, in that the world was balanced on the back of a giant turtle, or gods with many arms. The existing religion also supported the bias of the times. It also had a caste system that is hard for India to shake, and it had become a central part of the faith. On top were the usually lightest skinned leaders and those of the court, who were then deemed closest to God.
Many religions still follow this five thousand year old Brahmin superiority over other faiths. Buddha was high in this caste system, actually in the second highest caste system, those of the warriors, who had to be that high, like modern day bureaucrats but more as protection on their way to Heaven first. Down it went until the darker skinned people were the real life and spiritual untouchables, and were perhaps going to have to undergo many transformations before such harmony and suffering could be completed.
And until that, their children were doomed as they to be the sewage duty for all this life. Buddha rejected all these thoughts. His quiet, diamond eyes found eight steps to bliss, painful discovery at a time. By the time of his gentle death at age eighty, a very old age for that time, Buddha had began his last mortal day with a simple meal with his family of friends, and they all began a final meditation as one in this life. At the end of the meditation, which my faith encourages twenty minutes as perfect, gentle Buddha had followed his meditation into Heavenly Nirvana so blissfully.
A diamond of a life was lived with Buddha. It was three followers of Buddha surely, who were wise and from the east, there to look in to the diamond eyes of baby Jesus, the Christ child. The next son of God would surely have eyes that glittered like diamonds and when they saw this was so then they knew. And this search is still the way Buddhists next door to India of Buddha, in high mountain Tibet. Here when the reigning holy man is frail or in fear of dying, most other holy men begin to prepare for their journey in search of the next leader.
After the death of their dear leader, these three wise men follow the trails of Tibet. They look into many eyes, each set of eyes in Tibet, each new born child. Some times it has taken the holy men years before they find their next reborn leader. When that diamond of a soul baby is found, all holy men must agree. When they look into those eyes the diamond soul must be seen and felt by each wise man. When that does occur then all rejoice and praise their leader. The new dali lhama is always a he, at least so far in history.
He is adopted and brought up in that holy place in Tibet now a Museum, and they would always there nurture him for life. Diamond souls in Lhasa, there are diamonds in the eyes of the most kindly at church, or in a smile in a grocery line, and as our souls every day in life. Researchers at the University of California have showed that there are eight general virtues of those who report most bliss and happiness in their lives, live the longest, report best health for age, gender, and income group.
These sound an awful lot of church going people who do charity work that I have known.

How are you going to keep them down on the yhurt, after they’ve seen Beijing? So a billion people watched these most glorious ever Olympics - no need to ponder Chinese antiques or any old buildings. Now that the games are over life goes back to the daily routine as things are evolving to be. For many farm youth in rural China today, the lure of the coast and the jobs becomes ever more real. We learn that it is often the younger daughter who leaves the family compound in the valley towns and villages, and ventures for only months not years at a time to work near the coast in a factory job. There are dormitorys we learn as the man with the golden BBC voice shows us places. Work here in clean modern factory, walk these ways to shops and dormitory home, all new. We learn these migrants return to their village often, some times staying at home for work as available in the town or the fields. Toilets are a rare commodity in the country side and a luxury in the new dormitory life style on the coast. Much is provided, few additional luxuries are needed to survive, live, work, and enjoy some quiet time while your factory job takes precedent.
How you enjoy the modern lead lined pot or melamine soil laced product or simply a fine, cheap and worthy appliance seems to need so careful choices on the part of all of us. We do know that the earlier great civilizations that had walls built to protect them from northern barbarians had created many fine products. To be able to get your hands on any rich relic of bygone days would be to put you on a more fast track type of strategy than many of your fellows are doing.
To buy low any rich old Chinese antiques is to place your self into the future destiny of a wise investor who wants what you have because you chose so wisely. So what if it is a future Susie Wong and she has conquered it all now. But she does long for her grand mothers Mings and relic old things. And when she checks and her web browser point the fate finger at you, hold to your price, while you make her gasp. Stick your neck out Marco, your timing was fine, your choice of antiques divine.
She must take off her shoes near your shrine, her mantle lined with Mings and things. When your long low bow makes her blush, you show you understand. Princess Wong has been trained to see how you flatter her so, is a test to prove she is special Princess. To deal with the mirror backward Orient mind, if you are of the west, consider this. Think of your self as a left handed tennis player playing one billion three hundred million right hand tennis players. That always causes challenges, because you are different.
Now, if you practice your back hand so it is your strongest shot and you play that often, you now have two advantages which can have you beat players better than your actual skill level should support. So this can apply when you as one of the west challenges a rich female Chinese antiques investor. The question is how. By buying back her family heirlooms.
She will brag she met you, you can tell her the price is going up but she can say it was all so easy, you are just another Marco Polo wanna be. Win win, and you get to serene all the way to the bank.

We search for diamonds always, and still we crave for more. So what is it about a diamond that causes us to want it so. It is our eternal search for perfection, as sparkling diamonds are surely gentle God’s most pristine perfection. As these shafts of carbon that somehow come from the boiling inner hell of the earth, these slivers of coal transform in this amazing upward pressure of heat. They shoot up to and above earth’s surface, as sparkling diamonds as by magic of God or creation, through cracks in the earth.
Until they are found in fine bundles, and off to your hand. Although many become drill bits, these diamonds cut steel to turn the wheels of industry so. Perhaps as with people, so many lumps of dirty coal, so few precious rare diamond souls. And so it seems also among people. Some times people can all collectively go mad as when Genghis Khan or Napoleon urge their people to fight others, and prove absolutely their crusade, our holy lands are more sacred than my jihad. Red ant mad ant madness, all self loving lumps of coal all blind in your rage.
A monk of Tibet would know his own place. We hear a Tibetan elder speak to the camera, why does Han China not go back to his place? We are reminded that even Russia went home from Afghanistan. Even Red Bear Ivan left Kabul enters Georgia, more blood on his face, follow that case, go home back to Moscow, Beijing, London or New York. All Huge Pandas who bully slow down meditating, harder work. And when we remember that the present Dahli Lhama was selected in his youth since the first arrival of a holy man from India after the death of gentle Buddha who lived in the years 560 to 480 B.C.
Tibet has searched after the death of each holy leader at the babies born after since then. Some times may take them years and each holy man must all agree. Tibetans all await as they are truly looking into the diamond eyes of God in this newborn child. Our modern history allows us to conceive how natural this began our own paths and how we might be well served to take this step of holy love out and beyond mystery at Christmas, but through out the entire year, every years.
How do we relate a diamond soul with diamonds in the rough? Well it seems pretty natural to us: gentle Buddha allows you to enter his kingdom with a piece of fruit, a flower and a small hankie. How we all find the diamond soul in our other wise ever much to frenetic and hectic life schedule is a challenge now and will be. How you crack the egg of free liberty involves how you stop and think now of each purchase you make, each direction you go. It is not written until you write it.
Right the wrong, fix the mend, diamond your self up to a standard you know you can maintain, once you remember to hold your head straight up and go forward. Keep us posted. You can do it.

To be a part of the gloriously staged and artfully created Beijing Olympics as pure genius. We are the world should and did applaud and allow ourselves to feel we really are all of the great famiy of humanity. Lest we forget. It is glorious to get rich, and China is becoming rich by making products we used to make for ourselves until the factories could not compete and over the seas the jobs did follow the purchasing of foreign better made products. We had to notice the clear blue skies over Beijing.Blue sky where there had been foul smog days earlier was lost amidst the glamour of the crowds and the stadiums brimming with heart rending stories of fine triumphs and heart aching misses and dreaded fourth bests and their tears. So forgotten these days was king smog, and this was a man made marvel of plant closures and vehicle bans. What ever else it all worked towards what a controlled state such as modern China can do when all are agreed what must be done for the glory of the state.
To burn coal to create power to create goods to sell for profit is glorious; not so much when Olympics are being played. In China this is an easy order to coordinate, in America it would take a while to make happen, in Italy there would have to be a revolution and several changes of government before the weather could be tampered with. We suggest that while you are certainly welcome to purchase you quota of melamine soil or lead line pots from modern China, just before the earliest models are out at garage sales down the block.
You also check out some Chinese antiques sites and see what they were. Mings and things are still showing up on antiques web sites and they are not making any more. They do not likely have lead or melamine if you can stand that. You could see that any such Chinese antiques purchases you made now were almost primordally going to rise as you buy them. For the growing modern great civilization knews what it has been, and how well you can adapt to that is to you profit. So buy low now, sweet chariot of fire, become the Marco Polo of your grand fathers dreams.
Show them your stuff. When somem future Ms Susie Wong makes her fame and her name and wants to regain her greatest grand mother Mings things, she checks the net and find that proud owner is - you. Stick your neck out Marco, ask her to take off her shoes at your door when she wants to study your mantle filled with her Mings and things. When she gasps at your price, you smile with a deep secret within you and bow very low. She has been trained to know you old flatterer you test to be sure she is special princess.
Hold to your price, Marco. There will be another buyer soon you warn her. She will boast that she met you.

All seems so glorious in the grand new China, not that we can forget their Chinese civilization has been great before as well.

Diamonds For Silks, Twains Khan Meet
Your name is Marco Polo. You are fifteen years old and you live in Venice, that growing great city of trade. It is the year 1200, and you are a proud citizen of the City State of Venice. Not part of ancient Rome, Venice was only by 450 AD pushed out here to exist on stilts in the marshes; by the Germanic Theodorics and Hun Attilas of their days you get used to life by, of aand in the sea. But they tell you that while the first portion of your journey will be by sea, most will not.
So, you are soon on the creaky old sailing vessel bound to go south down the boot of Italy and off the Dalmatian coast, you circle around Greece and enter the Black Sea at Constantinople. At the end of the Black Sea, north of Georgia and near the gate way to Asia, you begin your long traverse by foot to China. Let the journey begin. You have paid heed to realize you all must appear as lepers to survive; all must walk as if stricken for indeed many diseases are to be found along this ancient silk route.
Off to your right is the fabled mountain Noah is said to have brought his Arc to rest. At least so it is written, and scholars find the words to imply. You must meet new guides each portion of the way, as they in turn must return to tend their goats and families, and some areas over lap with over lords. Stricken movements bring you long ways, loaded with diamonds and gemstones shop body filled with jewels from the west for silks and spices and all those things rare in each land.
It is not easy to walk so stricken when you are told of the beautiful young ladies of the family of the Mighty Khan in the Forbidden City Court in Beijing. When you arrive all is in preparation for you, and you are amazed. Your relatives told you until you felt their wordss were hollow, and now you marvel. Fire works and noises, Marco realized could quickly become a weapon in the west. And so it soon was that before the century was out down the Dalmatian coast between Venice and Greece the first cannon made from a church bell kicked sideways stuffed with Chinese gun powder.
Thus did cannon balls shoot apart the first castle in the world? Neither did I until studying how darn much trouble Marco Polo had in his britches on his way to grace, wisdom, folly and fortune beyond that attained by most of us in a life time, his by the second hand. By the time Marco got to Khan’s Court he was steaming. And so were the ladies of the court in wonder. Who was this young man coming back with the two old men from the west? Marco walkedthrough those thick silk curtain veils with a chest held high pride and sense of the moment he could not fail: lights, cameras not yet but what action.
And now he was stepping forward in slow gradual movements that seemed to meet the tempo of the existing music, yes that was it, he was a player on this majesic stage. He was very handsome he had been told, and he could sense that while he gyrated slowly and moved forward his eyes glazed over many, fixated on some, were mesmerized by two, the might Khan of course. But then also his perhaps youngest daughter, she is radiant, she wears no diamonds! Marco felt destiny call to him as he slowed his entrance down and walked himself down into a head bowed grace to mighty Khan.
Description
If your name is Marco Polo and your uncle and your dad agree you can walk to China with them, you plan your trip with their words in your mind.

Diamonds Sparkle, Eyes Rejoice
Loose diamonds that cluster together yet break apart virtually in your hands are being mined in far northern Canada as we speak. And how we speak is getting a change for the better or worse as every where on Gods green earth it does seem. That this cold northern region of Canada sees little green by nature, more of ice and snow as Voltaire had imagined it to be, it is so here and now. Except that beneath that ice and snow there be diamonds and gemstones shop worthy jewels awaiting our prospectors and diggers and surveyors and purveyors to market and to you.
How much more quickly to you is quite the story in itself. And how a great bear of a Yankee who came to our home to sell coal piles to the home land for the green cash. And how his employers did not quite know what to do with these bits of diamond finds amidst their coal piles. And how he did hang out around that seedy diamond area of old Antwerp, all the days and nights for years, until he broke gradually down the invisible walls of the cartel. That is, our hero Grizzly from Denver broke into the bank and cartels or not, until sparkle oh by dazzling ah, soon Canadian diamonds of purest high quality were gradually making their world debuts to rapturous voices. Oz company, Johnnie Canuck quality with NYC smarts trickled into the system.
Until now that the Fifth Avenue jewelers and New York smart became part of the action you can just imagine how quickly after a certified Eskimo polishes your diamond and brands that Polar Bear up its butt, your diamond once order at some tiff or toff place, will bypass the bargain counter and be shipped from diamond field to you. You have got to give it to our modern wizard marketing skills that you get first choice, best price, quickest and most honest delivery of a product that is so exquisite it may have increased in value by the time it sparkles upon your hand. It lights up more than just your life. Santa thanks you.
In moral, green and social ways then we can see that diamond investing is really a sparkle in the eyes of genius. For surely as we qualify people from moron up to the very bright, brilliant and genius, we can apply such a standard within merely the carbon range of minerals: from coal to diamonds. That in deed says it all: which lump do you wish to experience on your next birthday? To display a lump on coal on your brides hand would be insult enough in some societies to have her in laws shouting off with his head.
Yet on the far end of that giving or not spectrum of life, to display the largest diamond in the land, as Richard Burton once did for the hand of Elizbeth Taylor, is to say it all in the merit of love and the mineral soul of sparkling eternity. Like many a king emperor or brave knight, Richard fell on his own personal swords of life and is now with the ages. While for now Elizabeth Taylor lives in sweet justice as the Wife of Bath in Chaucers Cantebury Tales. Many times wed bed and husband dead, she spoke of knights of old and tales of conquest.
And she who survives does always find a way. No diamonds and gemstones shop around her wrist or neck until journeys end: fools display what knaves take away. It was ever thus, and might yet prove to be. Hold thine head high and rejoice: prepare to duck, and hold to goals beyond what till now has been mortal. Go beyond, Marco. It is yet in you. Your princess needs your genius to see her in her entirety even through her veils. You flatter with your sweeping long deep lowest bow, she blushes and the court is silent.
Who dare this act of impudence? Off with his head? Or grant him safe passage? Stick it out, Marco. It is in you to give. Then the melting princess with the diamonds and gemstones shop open to your good graces. Who needs Venice?

Diamonds Really Are Forever
If you can imagine inside mother earth for a moment, hold to this loose diamonds creating thought. A shaft of diamonds and gemstones shop destined light is shooting up from the hellish fires of the central core of our green still mother earth. This heat flow will now set this lump of coal apart from often nearby lumps as coal seams to burst up to the roof, that is at our feet, as clusters of diamonds. Did you know that this coalish sort of carbon some how gets selected as a shaft to top side at only a certain radiated blast of heat and fire?
Tis so, and this knowledge has allowed some lucky lands and some not so lucky. For in poorly developed civilizations such as throughout Africa blood diamonds as those scattered like ash or landmines. Whereas some lucky countries such as Australia and Canada have rejoiced in on goings new finds of the richer deep central gyre of diamonds going deep down into mother earth. Come and get it. We are doing that in Canada not too far north east of where the oil sands are being extracted.
Well, if you are from England or Japan, we admit our Canadian not too far involves thousands of miles. Even Texas has to hitch its britches a tad when it thinks of Canada, who hides its oil in sands the size of Texas. And Canadas diamonds? Even they go on for ever it seams.
When prices of commodities reach a certain higher plateau then come the most enormous machines on earth to tear and send home oil and diamonds. That this is good news to the world is worth making a point of, in these uncertain times and our natural desire to do the good thing but also find it is green for our wallets. That is the case when you purchase a known Australian or Canadian refined, or in some cases both national diamonds in one Polar Bear Diamond from Canadas lands of ice and snow.
For a mining company from Oz was the brave new face in Antwerp decades ago, a great bear of a Yank who introduced Canadian Diamonds to a skeptical world market, fearing toss off African blood diamonds. Since then, the new kids on the block have found name brand retail shops on Fifth Avenue as partners. Who wins? You do, prices stay more level with new supplies. But recall dear mother inflation: the earlier you set aside some diamond type investment the sooner it begins its inflation guaranteed plus hedge to your retirement security.
It is always so that when you look back on when you purchased your first diamond you can shake your head later in grateful amazement as the price has so risen. Who could have guessed? You could, Mrco, in the wildest reorientation of go north young man. And these diamonds up thar are not just new, but best, an to prove these were harvested from new deep cluster mines near Santa the Canucks engrave a lil Polar Bear on the butt of your diamond.
In an honest and successful attempt to mitigate dark months of the arctic soul and high rates of alchoholism and teen suicide new lives of value arrive near their laps and locals are lapping up the locals first employment opportunities. You can feel inwardly good that your purchase of a Polar Bear Diamond from Canadas high north is helping wean an Eskimo away from the melting ice with few chances of true north strong and free as known is going and soon gone. Even the polar bears who need pack and solid ice to roam for ice holes where they catch their main diet seals.
We are all so connected, and that a polar bear in decline alive can so easily stand in as emblem of a proud people reborn works in a reminder and warning. Yet diamonds really are forever and without diamonds mining tools could not be sharpened enough and princess necks go unadorned: civilization would no longer be possible in the diamonds and gemstones shop kind of way. Speaking of Fifth Avenue, have you seen some of their door opening specials on the net? Saves on sore elbows, stomped feet and bus fare!

How Japan Lives Up Eiffel Tower In A Paris Bomb Scare Daily
If you reverse this story you can reach from the not so mysterious Japan of 1945 and the worried Europe of 1962 with the ever anxious worries of a western civilization of Japan now faced by an oriental silly mad frizzy haired Not So Glorious Goonball of Barren North Korea.
In any case you can relax and orient your own way through this not so oriental story location. Or at least at that peculiar reorienting Japanese antiques shops opposite a then much greener earth shaking only in our boots experience.
My new bride and I were in fact up the Eiffel Tower in March 1962. It takes a while to connect the dots in our lives, and sadly I find that this experience has gained relevance to todays world; there is now more sense of urgency with all that has happened in this past decade. It may be that as we age, we mature differently, and often long ago memories can return to haunt us with a vividness that feels so recent.
And yet we can often wonder where we put the car keys from the recent trip to the grocery store. At any rate, Marion and I had rushed to Berlin and had rejoiced (me) and recoiled (my beloved)at the new Berlin Wall in October 1961, had machine guns pointed at us, had been prodded and frightened nearly out of our skins by the golden Mongol soldiers that Communism had placed generously around West Berlin to maintain a high state of terror.
So this mood prevailed among the caged citizens of West Berlin.
But now we should be safely secured on our honeymoon travels, and we were enjoying the lighter part of our honeymoon. Paris is cold in March, and I really doubt that the legendary April in Paris is really that much better. June in Paris perhaps might bring flowers and showers and romance. There was little romance in the air of Paris that clear cold day.
What you see of Paris from the observation deck at the top of the Eiffel Tower is a grand view of the most wonderful city in the world, as their tour guides tell us, is an enchanting view of contrasts. Look down one way and you gaze upon the Left Bank and the artisans of Paris by the river Seine. Look down from the other side of that small steel cup and you are overwhelmed by the grand boulevard and green space with Napoleons Tomb.
On that fated day, however, the soft silence of the chilly breezes seems to have some other element of sounds coming at us from the distance. As if waiting for an opening into our lives, an interesting new sound seems to be coming up to you with an increasing frequency, or urgency. It sounds eerie and begins to command your attention. Whoop whoop whoop fills the cold air. And then you realize that the mild buzz of traffic has more than just this sound.
How we compare Paris 1962 to Tokyo 1945 or Baghdad 2008 depends on what impulses surge most in each of us: punishing conservatism self nurture or too giving fool will take us forward. So a Japanese Antiques Shop perspective continues.

Due to Rise Tribal jewelry remnants along with tools and human bones tell the story of Asian coastal peoples coming up over the Alaskan land bridge between ice ages, and how these waves of Asian peoples became less Asian in appearance the farther they advanced into the Americas. The oldest human artifacts are at Old Crow in the Yukon, near the entry point onto the North American continent, and these peoples pushed down the east side of the west coast icefield in a gap, and this language group advanced as far south as the Mexican border, as it includes the Navaho and Apache tribes.
Later arrivals created a cultural gap between north Athabaskan language families in Alaska and Canada, and those in Arizona and New Mexico. At at rate, these people moved inland and stayed there. The next arrivals from Asia were island hoppers and likely bypassed the receding icefields first on Vancouver Island in what is now the southern half of Canada’s province of British Columbia. From here tribes migrated out and down coastal and interior areas.
From these points south, through Washington and Idaho to Oregon and California are many waves of differing language groups jostling for their space. This continued until the continent was fully populated: the last of these Asian arrivals in the period 10-30,000 year ago, were the Iniut-Eskimo peoples, who still all look quite similiar and share languages, and who took over the areas above the tree line around the Arctic.
Sign language is thought to have evolved around the Rio Grande region as a means for tribes to understand enough to trade essential goods with each other. And gradually, cultures settled into routines, boundaries, adapting to thrive on local food and resources, trading far away goods. Sea shells dug up in desert digs among human remains and tribal jewelry are found often, proof of an intricate trading system, in which the wearer could behold items from a culture they might never see.
And these cultures had evolved their social intelligence and worked out ways to work as many units often, yet had worked out a system of cooperation to allow rare artifacts to be where they caused awe and inspiration. So we see coastal Haida natives near the Alaskan border evolve a maritime culture, and like the Viking in Europe, attack in slave raiding parties on southern tribes living easy. It may have been ever thus, hardy northern people attack those rich and living soft.
Egypt had three thousand years of sublime peace and prosperity. Until those damned Assyrians on their horses came out of Asia on their horses with their swords, soft civilizations have felt nervous ever since. Watch yon Cassius, he has a lean and hungry look. If there are any good tribal artifacts still out there, they are as often not being crushed under Bull. Dozer One and Bull Dozer Two, are busy out there, to find metals and minerals and oil in the ground. Dust to dust, ash to ashes, but.
If and as we can, we do need to save and learn. About ourselves. About who we all are. Connected, is what. Common parents back in Africa, how we look depends which way our ancestors turned when they crossed that same Sinai the the Assyrians roared out of, Moses wandered lost in for all those years, tripping over tribal artifacts. There is more history now, perhaps fewer artifacts and tribal jewelry. But awareness of rareness can be liberating. Save and be saved. There is an Indiana Jones in us all: if we can’t quite crack the whip on the site, we can click in and see what he found. And not have to go down into that pit with the snakes. Now that is win win.
Description
Fewer tribal jewelry finds may be more common as development and mining tear up ancient sites, meaning we must get by with fewer items of the past.
