Diabetes is becoming a gateway disease to heart, kidney, body diseases.
Type-2 Diabetes is self induced from years of poor diet and lack of exercise, and is increasing rapidly in the population. Researcher have found diabetes is also becoming a gateway disease: the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists have found the onset of diabetes increases your risk of stroke 5%, or Congestive Heart failure up 7%, heart attack risk up 8%, foot problems up 13%, Eye damage up 19%, and Kidney disease up 22%, says Men’s Health July 2007.
Kind of makes you want to get up off the couch, get out and walk, or get on your exercise gym and work up a sweat? Have something totally healthy, no white sugar, no white flour junkitos. Grill some meat, grill some colored veggies and some of Aunt Agatha’s Vodka Berry Science Potion, get up and dance. And as you get your chances, get on that gym machine, get out and walk, and decide that only you can reverse an unhealthy, diabetic slide into waves of related diseases. Row your boat, captain.

Red Meat Does Not Cause Cancer
- Myth #3 in Men’s Health’s Oct 2007 ‘Red meat causes cancer” states this impression came after studies in Japan in 1986 showed mice developed cancers when fed “heterocyclic amines”, which are generated from overcooking meat under high heat. The truth is, no study has found a direct cause and effect between red meat consumption and cancer. It is the overcooking at high heat that creates the burnt part, which is where the heterocyclic amines are, and in the fats. So, bottom line is, don’t stop grilling. Just not at high heats, and cut off any burnt part. Luckily for Aunt Agatha and I we love ours medium rare so no burn part or fat on our grilled steaks. Such good luck for those of us who love our patio or back yard grill.
- Myth #1 ties in with this: You should eat your target body weight rate in grams of protein a day. High protein intake has zero published research that shows high protein intake is harmful to your kidneys, that while higher protein intake does increase our glomerular filtration intake (GFR), Dutch researchers found this had no adverse affect on the kidneys.
· So grill up, a steak the grams in ounces you wish to weight in pounds.
- That number, you realize is total proteins for the day, so include some protein included in your breakfast milk, yogurt, or (sob) reduce your grill steak size by that much. still that’s plenty happy times around the grill, someone with a guitar, some of Aunt Agatha’s science diet blackberry vodka with pure ice cubes from the fridge, and happiness. Pure happiness. Mm, Jeeves, the steak is perfect, medium rare, no fat, no burnt parts. That is, if you weigh 200 pounds and you want to weigh 180, then have 180 grams of protein a day. IF you weigh 150 pounds and want to weigh 180, eat 180. Otherwise, you can do your math.

It’s true: if you bring her pure dark elegant chocolate, she becomes more aroused eating the chocolate than kissing you.
British scientists monitored couples as they ate squares of dark chocolate and again as they kissed passionately. They found that women’s heart rates released 400% more endorphins when eating the cacao rich chocolate than when kissing their partner, and their heart rates rose 20% more when eating the chocolate.
So, I’ve just mentioned to young Mr Brown, who just now was quietly stuffing his knapsack with auntie’s tart cherries for his own power vodka cherry surprise, the next time he, young Mr Brown (he turns 80 next April) shows up hinting for a glass of Aunt Agatha’s renowned restorative health drink of vodka and berries, he should buy her some elegant dark chocolate, and a bottle of vodka in exchange for her much more powerful vodka cherry berry knockout surprise.
Now that he knows, I am sure young Mr Brown will ditch the flowers, get his money back, auntie only puts them in her salads, but he is on his way up to the high street, to buy Aunt Agatha some very fancy 65% pure cacao chocolate, and a bottle of vodka from the liquor purveyor for Auntie to begin storing more berries in the vodka: into the mix. Ah the lights will be on later tonight, the music will be playing, auntie will be humming old melodies, all is well.

Goji Berries are one of the most potent anti oxidants, reducing insulin resistance, of any fruit.
Goji berries have been a medicinal plant in Tibet for 1700 years, but only now western science has measured this berry to determine if there is any science to the healthy myth about this rugged mountain berry. And it appears, these Goji Berries have one of the highest ORAC ratings, a measure of a plant’s antioxidant potency, of any fruit, according to research of rats by Tufts University. And that was an hour ago, the youngest son of Blake and Sons came by, all fixed. We were lucky to catch him, he was just out the door to his grandson’s graduation…they all eat a lot of Aunt Agatha’s foods, and they keep her tops on their list if a plumbing problem comes up one of them is hear before you can hang the phone up. Men with highest magnesium levels have a 40% lower risk of early death.
Pumpkin seeds are the highest source of magnesium.
French researchers recently discovered that men with the highest levels of magnesium in the blood have a 40% lower chance of early death than those with the lowest levels. On average, men consume 353 mg of magnesium daily, well below the minimum for minimal health of 420 as recommended by the USDA. This in Mens Health. Get Pumpkin seeds and eat them whole, roasted they contain 150 mg of magnesium per ounce, sprinkle them on your salads, eat by the handful, and live long enough to be a bother to Aunt Agatha for years. She loves them too.
If you buy them in bulk, keep them and any other seeds, grains, nuts in the fridge so their essential fatty acids don’t break down. Even an orange, many fruits and veggies have only half their nutrition as they sit around “fresh” for a few days. Make sure you have ample storage for all these essential fatty acid foods that much be treated with care. You have obviously paid no attention to Aunt Agatha in getting a more suitable new fridge freezer, a 2 door with an ice maker, your water fiter system set up for your ice cubes to put in all your new dark fruit juices…you haven’t heard a word she’s said, have you. Well, get that larger fridge freezer so you have ample storage: the fresh or frozen in here all need to be the way they are until you are ready to eat them. And if we go buy Aunt Agatha’s, or the Purple Grocer, we’ll have more to store. Well, in this world, it does feel good to have your life in your hands and you are gaining. Maybe not on Aunt Agatha, but who can keep up with her? Musta been the juices. Coulda been the vodka. But wasn’t that a party? Me oh my, pumpkin seeds and Aunt Agatha’s vokda berry cherries.

That quote from Mens Health caught my attention, as I thought it might yours. Israeli scientists have found that a glass of pomegranate juice a day causes your systolic (first) blood pressure by 21%, and significantly increases blood flow to the heart. We have quite an array of natural fruit juices you should down daily, make sure you have the space, if you need a larger fridge and freezer then get it. This your life, what’s remaining, make it glow. When you feel your stomach twitch or growl, stop treating yourself like Rodney Dangerfield, give your body some respect. So, let’s show our body the same respect Rodney would have to one of the chorus girls, show ourselves great respect. K?
You have every aspect of your bodies physical needs there in your power kitchen, and esp in your Mother Earth Central, your fridge freezer. Best is fresh dark and black juices, glasses filled with purified fridge water system ice cubes for your daily water, to freshen your power cherry and berry drinks in glass bottles. And in the new freezer stacked with dark veggies, you need room for cans of Frozen orange juice, any berries, any fruit juices with no sugar added, and you are well hung with supplies to last you the winter.

Aunt Agatha is 93 and she says having chunky vegetable soup before her meal always leaves her more than satisfied with a small portion of her meal. By 20%, according to a study by researchers at Penn State, who found that men consumed 135 fewer overall calories when they began their meal with a 150 calorie serving (1 + 1/2 cups) of a broth based vegetable soup.
We know that boiling water kills the plant based nutrients, so get a crockpot if you don’t have one, make enough soup for a week with slow steaming day long breakdown of the healthy carrots, every bright color plant you are learning to love. Takes minutes to wash, dice, slice and pop them in the crock, set on Auto, and see you for soup before dinner. Cool the crock, you can place this wonderful pot of soup, your weeks supply, if the pot is still hot near bedtime place it a few minutes in cold water in the sink till it’s cool, pop it into the fridge with its lid on, and there is your soup, Duke. Aunt Agatha will be so pleased with us.
Then we’ll talk about how you can do this to make your meal, with a second crockpot. You will store this separately, and the easiest, laziest most convenient way is to get a second crockpot. This is the meal pot, which will also go into your fridge. Add your roast beast, no or little water, several cans of tomatoes with Italian spice flavor, add your spices, bay leaf, your power favorites, see our list, lots of canned beans, even frozen veggies into the second crockpot, do the same but different, and store both inner pots in your now perhaps new, larger fridge freezer to make these delights in little time, and you have become your own chef and good man Jeeves. When you arrive home after your hard day, pop some soup into your microwave, and some of Aunt Agatha’s Berry Cherry Vodka martini, and you will feel restored and empowered by this amazing new discovery. Which auntie has known since her youth,under the tart cherry tree, eating fermented berries and then whipping the biggest boy on the block. Where we we? Oh yes, then, put your power meal glass dish and its glass cover into same micro, and viola.
If it is Jeeves night off or he is at his book club, then say to yourself, well done, old chap. Jolly good. Well, let us partake. Aunt Agatha left a fresh bottle of her vodka. You noticed how it is jammed with blackberries. A super power house those berries become when vodka is added, says Men’s Health. Well Aunt Agatha has known it for years, look at her up dancing with Brown the gardener, and she was chasing young Brown (he will be 70 next April)with a rake this morning for stealing her tart cherries. We are so proud of ourselves when we struggle valiantly and lose weight: we’ve all done it lots of times. A friend says he has lost more than his entire body weight over the years, but the damn thing just keeps coming back, larger than ever. What to do?
Well, researchers at the University of California at Davis may have our answer, bless them. They have found a powerful fatty acid in Borage Oil that may be the key to keeping pounds off once they have been lost. Now, finally, No may mean No to these stalking killer fat cells. They must be male. Researchers gave obese people who had lost weight, 5 grams of Borage oil, the richest source of an omega-6 fat called gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) to these people, a group who might be expected to rebound in weight, for a year. They do not appear to be have been encouraged to exercise particularly, the emphasis was on any effect Borage oil might make to the human body. The answer is plenty, and it’s all good. After a year, the results were:
People who added Borage oil to their daily diets had 80% less weight gain than the group who had not taken Borage Oil.
Borage oil’s strength is in it’s ability to push the body to produce more arachidonic acid, which being overweight reduces levels of in the human body. So sweat off some fat, either get walking, or get a dynamic new small home exercise machine for amazing easy results.
