Many studies have shown that Flax Oil is essential daily
-
Flax oil, an essential fatty acid, has the ability to allow nutrients to pass through our digestion and into our body as helpful foods.
-
Studies have shown that lacking some fatty essential acids and particularly Flax Oil with diet causes many of the nutrients to leave the body un absorbed.
-
Which is why we will consolidate some studies at this site. You will notice we feature Flax Oil by a trusted source on our Supplements site, and we do recommend it. You must keep refrigerated. Flax seeds at the health food store need to be broken open, as it is the oil that has the heart saving ability to help clean the circulatory system, and Barleans does that and more for our entire body. I spoon the Flax Oil over a salad, or an already cooked item. Here’s to your Good Health.

To confirm the story of work and effort required to succeed in life, in contrast to laziness and folly; the world does not owe you a living, Mr Grasshopper, and we hope you wake up enough to join us ants in our preparing for what could be a very long cold winter. While we all are busy, not always efficiently so, causing our co workers grief, we blunder on, and gradually, the ant hill fortress is complete, stocks stored, and let the winter winds howl.
Except, there are times we human ants still need to scurry around in the blowing winter gales. And why we were able to tune in to our wonderfully warm, cozy home, and enjoy some warm, not too hot, not too cold, coffee or tea or cocoa. Many wonderful mountain grown organic beverages now have powerful anti oxidants: some deep tasting, elegant, deep, soothing, and imagine, they are fighting cancers in you as you enjoy. Also, studies now indicate we should get our liquid warm, not cold, or the cold water gums any oils trying to go down the pipes. So, warm your water, best put it through the coffee process, since science also says drinkers of strong coffee get 43% less liver cancer, and other benefits, than non coffee drinkers.
Here’s to your health- at body temperature.

From War Heroes to us, Home Gym workouts can help keep us going.
November, after Thanksgiving, and before Christmas, is an annual service that honors all war dead heres. There, a rather extraordinary, perhaps new aspect to the annual service was created by one of the many religious leaders to speak; after the Jewish rabbi offered his prayers, he said, and began a chant that grew through the tens of thousands of Canadians, “we love our soldiers”. Among the lesser thousands of Canada’s forces attending between their active duty rotations; those interviewed later were coughing, smiling, wiping tears from their eyes, all gratified that all their dedication was so deeply appreciated. Cameras caught it all.
-
Many well meaning people of the good earth, as well as us, up where Santa starts out from, Canada, in it’s attempt to do the right thing, joined the NATO-inspired agreement that an attack on a neighbor, such as the horrifying attack on the New York City World Trade Towers, was also an attack on Canada. With America, Canada attacked back, at those who took the credit, Afghanistan’s mad Taliban government who were shooting women in the stadium for showing their faces. Yet now small army Canada occupies Afghanistan’s most dangerous corner of Taliban territory, not in Iraq, but near, yet not near enough the CIA created extensive caves in the mountains on the Afghanistan/Pakistan border, where all assume Osama Bin Laden, a rich Saudia rebel, is ignored by the west, revered by Islam, smiling, directing.
-
So, not entirely happy, but proud, Canadians are weekly honouring war dead from most Taliban Kandahar, and I could work out on my Home Gym, but Jeeves keeps butting in, wanting to talk about his uncle who perished in the Battle of Jutland, so he needs to work out on the Home Gym Essentials, he insists, so he can more elegantly flex his soul and roll out his inspired thoughts.
-
One inspiring example of how the youth of today “get it” was today’s story of a young Canadian backpacker, on the French beach Dieppe, where an too-early 1942 attempt test of Nazi control of the coast was a disaster for thousands of Canadian soldiers, used as an example that a 1944 invasion must use overwhelming troops and firepower, wider beaches, lower cliffs, hundreds of thousands of troops, not thousands, and a navy and air force that supported them. It became nibble at the edges, Africa, Italy, until America, Britain, Canada, Australia and the overseas British Empire could amass the overwhelming force, and next time not near the narrowest, most predictable part of the English channel.
-
And that youth on the Dieppe beach didn’t use his cellphone to phone his dad. He phoned his grandpa, and talked about the beach, high cliffs…
-
Grandpa could be writing about it now on his rumpled old desk. I don’t think those German bunker boys last thoughts were that grandpa was a typist. But his old desk helps him do that, and with the war wounds and a comfy new chair we got him that fits the desk, he say it was not like this at D Day. We find the Healthy Supplements he needs through this site of that name very handy; click when you are almost ready. And perhaps click through his new Home Gym Essentials, that Heart Monitor, Biofeedback, impressive. Home Gym Essentals, home doc’s Monitors that you could get him, or you, on this site.

1804- Lewis and Clark are being sought by Spaniards-while under their noses-
-
Stories that inspire irony in the making of America include the dog, and any natural dog diet, in those days, as again now, the BARF diet, bones and raw foods, making their way west, dog and Jedediah.
-
To the south, Spanish cavalry, tipped off that Lewis and Clark are on their way to chart a route beyond Louisiana and push on to the Pacific, set off in their armour, horses but no tracking dog. A military mission head north from Spanish Santa Fe to intercept and eliminate this nuisance mission. But their scouting reports are off: They did not bring one tracking dog, their spies have not found a piece of St. Louis trappers clothing. Lewis and Clark make it and change history.
-
And meanwhile, unannounced to anyone but himself, his donkey and his hunting dog, through all this activity passes an American trapper, who, sensing the western winds, winds his way past the civilized Spanish at Santa Fe, makes it through burning desert and arrives in Spanish Los Angeles shortly before Lewis and Clark arrive at the Pacific. In his buckskins, smelly, with his donkey and his dog, this first American from the east is “greeted” by the well dressed, civilized Presidio Spaniards.
-
And still now, as then, we need to get out and have a healthy walk with our modern dog, and unlike Jedediah Smith not worry about keeping our scalp.
-
And, your dog will love, and be safe with this natural dog diet, shiny fur, nice big healthy scalp all over.

As first Americans to walk to the Pacific, Jed and Merri find their trips vary.
-
There were extensive plans and funds for the now famed Lewis and Clark expedition from America to the Pacific Ocean by fore sighted President Thomas Jefferson’s purchase of the Louisiana Territory - but at the same time- it is 1804-
-
Jedediah Smith, an American trader and explorer, has found a southern route around the Rockies, and arrives in Spanish Los Angeles. Spanish officials whisper in groups…if one American, how many will follow? Well, we know, thirty five million so far, and counting. I would love to think Jed Smith, this 1804 rough coonskin trapper in a civilized Spanish city beyond Mission status, stayed on, built a house up in the hills, the Beverleys, that is. I wonder if to the Spanish Dons he was the first Clampet? Do you think? He didn’t have any oil wealth. In 1804 you burned coal oil, died coughing in your cabin. If so, we should arrange Jed Smith, not Clampet, gets a heavenly tennis court and pool to exercise and plot some way home.
-
Although, Jedediah Smith seems a mighty happy camper up there in the hills of Beverley, lapping in his pool, jogging with the senoritas, for Pete’ sake, with all those senoritas by his pool, him pretending all his writing is really serious parts in next year’s big 1805 fiesta with the pieta. Well, as long as they sing and dance, let’s us grin go ourselves silly with sports and outdoors here in the sun, and dance away. And get out of the sun.
-
Meanwhile, a thousand miles north, Merriweather Lewis, drenched to the skin, watches in fury while pounding Pacific waves shake him, as he shakes the drunken Frenchman who has again beaten Sacagawea, their native guide, wife of the abusive Frenchman, the only woman he knows, admires, adores, loves.
-
Lewis, dispirited, says let’s go home. Treated like royalty by President Jefferson, given land grants in his native Tennessee, Lewis huddles in his cabin, hears no more music, plays no more games, shoots and kills himself alone in his cabin within years. Sacagawea mourns him all her life.
-
The moral? Hm. We need sunshine. We need to be out and about with our friends. We need love. You should have arrested that bastard for treason and had him shot and buried at sea; married Sacagawea, all lived happily ever after. But you did not. And now it’s too late. Except, if that jerk is in hell, who in Heaven gets to choose who dines with whom? I bet God says you decide. Some tables are crowded, some sparse. We will leave you two alone, honeymooners: Merriweather and Sacagawea till the sun stops shining. You can walk in your snowshoes up over those passes forever. And we will yet join you, but not just yet. So, we suggest if you also share our enthusiasm for a happy healthy life, you might find it of interest to click on our Pages Home Gym Essentials, and our Healthy Supplements, for those greens, flax oil, omegas you know your skin needs. Your entire body will thank you.

Merriweather and Jedediah both determined America’s Pacific borders.
-
Within five years of the death of George Washington in 1799, American energy has reached the Pacific coast. From the new Washington, D.C., White House, President Thomas Jefferson instructs Merriweather Lewis, who hires Mr Clark, to find a route to the Pacific, to the mouth of the Columbia river. He is given charts.
-
At around the same time, a rugged pioneer American explorer, fur trapper, jack of all trades, Yankee, Jedediah Smith arrives at the Spanish Mission in Los angeles. He has found a southern route to the Pacific from America. Americans hear of these two routes west, and begin to pour west. It’s legally not their territory, but…
-
Merriweather was an excellent note taker, and would have enjoyed luxuriating in his thoughts at a luxurious desk, but that was not to be, as he balanced his notebook while out running the Grizzly.
-
Jedediah was a different sort, not much of a talker but a great walker, had an instinct for which mountain pass was allowing western breezes through, instinctive, like. He would have marveled, even treasured a nice desk to write on. Must have been some nice Spanish desks in the Mission of Our Lady of Los Angeles or what ever they call it, we’ll name it something more American one day, rename these Spanish missions, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco good English names. They call this Upper California? Hell, drop the upper. This is California. Spanish officials worried-one American, how many will follow? Thirty five million more, as events unfold in this mostly frost free paradise.
-
Meanwhile, up where it rains ten times more, where the Columbia River empties into the Pacific, Merriweather was asking Clark to check his notes; they would walk in the pouring rain through the dead whale skeleton on the beach one more time, he was going to punch out Frenchie for slapping Sacagawea one more time, can’t we escape this driving wind and rain? Let’s go home. No more walking in the rain. I’m going to check out that new Page Home Gym Essentials, get those amazing monitors, can check my blood pressure. And when we haven’t eaten our greens and plant and fish omegas, that Page Healthy Supplements, is great.
Smiles, and are you surprised that 35 million more people poured into sunny California than to John Jacob Astor’s Astoria at the mouth of the Columbia River? Me neither.

Ben and Frank had brains, Tom and Huck had soul, and we have both.
-
You see it in the headlines; China and India now graduate more engineers than America or Europe, the world order is changing so quickly. Mega volumed Chinese factories supply the world, and Bangalore is the tip of the new Silicon Silk Roads; as Asia’s intelligent work force, energy and creative genuis is spurring them to ever greater heights and achievements. while we line up to buy their products.Let’s back up a century or two.
-
Between 1760, when Ben and Frank met in London, and around 1860, when Tom and Huck met on the banks of the Mississippi, in the middle of a now complete continental America, many amazing changes to people’s lives had occurred. And basic human decency and respect for others was evolving. So slowly. Much of what is written that follows was from the 1760 observations of Ben and Frank, but later in rougher 1860 American English without so much learnin’ an’ all, - but in a way that you, dear reader, would also fully unnerstand. Right, Tom? I could, Huck.
- Study. Learn. Pay attention. Advance each year with a course in the field you love, and keep at it. You don’t need to do anything but excell at what you do. Make it safe, clean, honest, the best that can come from you. Invest your heart and your mind and plan your steps. Exercise whenever you can: a home gym is best fo quick power rushes of feel good seratonin. Be a team player and use your mind to ensure you have identified and had eye contact confirmation that you understood that other’s point, and their need for whatever their position priorities to be heard, at least.
- And by this, you can operate a buddy system with several co workers in a non competitive position. Team with one or two, a Tom and Huck are ideal, and you, promote each others best ideas and each other, feed back on which boss is thumbs up on you and your ideas, where the thumbs sideways need work, etc. Friends, but keep your mind at work.
-
Get your 8 hours sleep each night, keep your routines stable, lights out by 10, and enjoy the thought of it, how restorative. Do not resent your sleep time, because as you begrudge your sleep, you will deny it to yourself. Think of it as a quiet reward and chance to re group for tomorrow. Drop into bed exhausted by ten: you will have ensured this hours earlier by a heart felt workout on your new home gym.
-
So, you outine your work; your priorities, and help it evolve with input from your peers and allies, and what can often evolve from an idea whose time has come, is that you find yourself in the forefront of a wave as it sweeps some old unworkable ideas away and allows room for fresh growth on the tree. Planning, and sometimes concidental need can enjoin to enable your idea to more become “it: and sometimes then quickly and easily as you evolve the plan, it will take on a life of it’s own.
-
Think more than you talk, talk half as much as you listen, keep a notepad handy for the occasional aha, and delight at the unexpected, take it in, time always later to dismiss what is in fact lovely to look at but totally impractible.
-
We all, as Newton said, stand on the shoulders of giants before us. We may, or may not be giants, or even in our own little world, we play by the rules, help the team go forward, eat right and help teach them the golden rules and work that brain. Team work, interplay, stay in the loop or find out what the loop says, no matter how foolish for now. There are waves, trends, tempting financial windfalls, but our bet is slow and steady, keep as basic to life and how you meet those of you and your family, makes your brain deeper in it’s capacity to love, therefore be a more complete person.
-
Further to this, Arizona State University researchers in our Brain Power article seem to be finding that the growth potential in the brain is to be most easily increased by greater use of the jumper cable that connects the emotional and logical brain. Right handers can increase their intelligence and ability by using their left hands more, creating muscle tension along that cable, strengthening it. And lefties try with their right. Watch with the fork in the eye, don’t try it with power tools.
-
Getting Brain Power is heady business. But you gotta stay one brain ahead of the competition. You can do this by using all limbs; best is now on our new Page and Category “Home Gym Essentials.” Workout, heart monitor, biofeedback, and you.

Natural Dog Diet is likely best for your dog.
- It is 1760. Benjamin Franklin takes leaves of his wife family and dogs, after feeding the dogs their natural dog diet, and is on his way to London to meet another dog lover, Sir Francis Dashwood, Dr. Franklin is soon a house guest of Sir Francis, and they are soon fast friends, out walking the dogs, chats around the lake, trips up to the Folly. As even the dogs eat well, Dr Franklin mentions the energy derived from oats at Sir Francis’ breakfast table: oats are not grown in America. The two friends are soon out in Sir Francis’ barn. Dr Franklin returns home with 2-3 bags of prize oats. Today Quaker Oats still feature benefactor Dr Franklin.
- IN CONTRAST
- China, without your or my consent, joined the global food supply and began flowing melamine and lead enhanced additives to our dogs, killing some. We were out of control, it seemed to me, when I saw the name brand supplier lists in the papers.
- DOES ANYBODY CARE?
- Well, we do. We became so incensed about this that we searched and now can name safe dog food suppliers, as we have found 100% customer satisfactory healthy suppliers are out there. So, we will stick with these Amazon suppliers who have retained a 100% approval rating throughout these past years, such as Discountpetdirect and Petplanet2U and apdempsey. 99.9% ratings have been maintained by kpetstore for salmon enhanced foods, Eastwestgifts for safety chew toys and treats, 98.8% for Equiteric with its health supplements.

Walks, or your home gym can lose the pills.
-
An article in the Victoria Canada Times Colonist Oct 22 2007 makes the comment that exercise beats pills, discussing recent warnings about dangerous side effect of some weight loss pills. Health Canada has just issued a warning to doctors not to prescribe Meridia, a popular weight loss drug, to people at risk of heart-related side effects. The agency has received 65 reports of heart problems-including one death-in the last six years.
-
There have been, as they state, astonishing life changing benefits from advances to prescription drugs. But Meridia does not offer life saving benefits. The drug changes users brain chemistry so that they feel less hungry. On average, people can expect to lose some 10 pounds, studies suggest. They would be better, by far, to work it off themselves, honestly.
-
People can also expect to pay $100 to $150 a month indefinitely. And, the article continues, Health Canada warns of potentially serious side effects. All for the same effects as running around the block, passing on an unhealthy snack, or working out on an exercise machine for minutes daily.
-
Yet Canadians filled about 107,000 prescriptions for Meridia last year, with their doctors support. How many in America, with ten times the population? People, why don’t we have a Get off Our Heavenly Ass and Walk a Block team? Why not create your own heavenly gym in the security and magic of your own home.
-
We have accepted the magic of pills, oh too much. We are still running to the medicine man’s wagon, when we would be better to keep our money in our pockets, as good Dr. Franklin adviced, and just chase the medicine man like a bailiff, keeping you both hot on the trails of your good heart health; he may throw dollars at you as he tries to escape. Guilty consciences always twitch and move quickly.
As for us, we will take a stroll around the block, but as it may rain, end up working up a good sweat on our new Home Gym Essentials home gym system. Lovely equipment, great fun. Cheers.
